I want to tell you something I don't say enough, which is that even the people who spend their whole working life holding space for others have to be held sometimes too, and if I'm being fully honest with you, I have to be really intentional about carving that out for myself or it simply doesn't happen.

You know me as someone who coaches, who speaks, who shows up on stages and in rooms and tells people how to find their power and their voice and their next level, and all of that is true and it's work I love, but underneath it I am also a woman who needs somewhere to go and be poured into, not just be the one doing the pouring, and for years now that place for me has been Julie Chandler.

Julie has been a dear friend of mine for a long time, and every single year I go to her for my year ahead reading, and every single time she's opened up her SHINE container to the public I have walked through it myself, so this isn't me telling you about something I've heard is good, this is me telling you about something that has cracked me wide open more than once.

Here's the thing I keep coming back to, and maybe you feel this too. We spend so much of our energy holding space for our clients, our families, our communities, our businesses, and somewhere in all of that holding we quietly stop asking who is holding us, and I don't think that's sustainable, and I don't think it's supposed to be that way.

Investing in my own connection to my angels, my guides, and that goddess energy isn't a luxury for me anymore, it's maintenance, it's how I stay full enough to keep pouring out into the work I love, and I wanted you to know that this is what I'm doing this fall, in case some part of you has been quietly craving the same thing.
