Hey hey hey, Kara here.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about how our friendships and relationships shift over time.

Not because anything dramatic happens. Not because of big blow-ups or betrayals. But because sometimes, they just… fade.

You text a little less. You get busy. And suddenly, someone who once felt like your person feels more like a memory.

I used to take that so personally (well, sometimes I still do). I'd ask Spirit, "What did I do wrong? Why would you bring this person into my life if they weren't meant to stay?"

But the more I've sat with it, the more I've realized something powerful.

We have soul contracts with every person we meet. Before we even arrive here, we agree on the role we'll play in each other's lives and how long it will last. Some souls are meant to stay for a lifetime. Others are just here to help us through a single chapter.

And when that contract is complete, the energy naturally starts to dissolve.

I've seen this play out in every part of my life. In my first marriage, where the real lesson was learning to love myself enough to walk away. In my coaching clients, who grow so fast that their old friendships suddenly feel out of tune. And in my own friendships, where I've had to learn that when someone drifts, it's not rejection… it's our souls moving in a new direction.

It doesn't mean anything went wrong. It means the lesson was learned.

Spirit gave me a message I want to pass along to you: When someone fades from your life, don't chase. Bless them, thank them, and make space for who's meant to meet you in your next season. I literally say this prayer when this happens in my life, "Please send this person love and bring peace in alignment with my highest and best good and the highest and best good of all involved."

Because the people who are aligned with your energy now… they'll feel effortless. They'll expand with you, not exhaust you.
